Tenant Fees & Charges

We believe in full transparency. Here is a clear breakdown of all fees and charges applicable to tenants.

In accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, we only charge permitted payments. The fees listed below are the only charges you will pay as a tenant of Delisa Miller. There are no hidden extras.

Item	Amount	Notes
Holding Deposit	1 week's rent	Paid to reserve a property. Refunded upon successful application or deducted from first month's rent.
Security Deposit	5 weeks' rent	Held against damages or unpaid rent. Protected in a government-approved deposit scheme.
Rent in Advance	1 month's rent	First month's rent paid before move-in.
Late Rent Payment	3% above Bank of England base rate	Interest charged on rent overdue by more than 14 days.
Lost Key Replacement	Reasonable cost	Cost of key replacement or locksmith call-out if keys are lost.
Variation to Tenancy	£50 inc. VAT	If you request a change to your tenancy terms (e.g. adding a permitted occupier).
Early Termination	Landlord's losses	If you request to leave before the fixed term ends, you may be liable for the landlord's re-letting costs.

Delisa Miller is a member of The Property Ombudsman redress scheme. All client money is protected under our Client Money Protection scheme. If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance and we will endeavour to resolve it.
